Miércoles 8 de abril a las 20 h. (Caballero y Mariscal Estigarribia Planta Alta) muestras de fotografías en Planta Alta Galería Richard Lavieille presentara una photografie lumière (caja de luz), se trata de una fotografia expandida cuyo motivo son las estrellas, tema que viene desarrollando el autor en una serie de fotos que captura a través de satélites en tiempo real. “Mµ 10″ como Lavieille la titulo estará expuesta por 15 días en uno de los salones del espacio, también se podrán ver otras fotografías estelares. En otra fecha “Mµ10″ será trasladada a la azotea ya que fue concebida para ese espacio por Richard y será colocada como cielo raso lumínico, un cielo raso de estrellas, evocadora imagen de cuando aun podíamos verlas en el cielo asunceno, esa noche estarán a disposición de los visitantes telescopios en la terraza y al cuidado de esa experiencia profesionales en astronomía que apoyaran la muestra explicando a los que se acerquen algunos conceptos y nombres de estrellas que puedan ser avistadas. También el mismo miércoles Laura Mandelik y Bettina Brizuela exhibirán el trabajo colectivo titulado “Objetos” consta de un video y una serie de fotos de objetos de cristal, porcelana y metal de uso domésticos seleccionados por ambas para ser retratados tanto por su valor afectivo como por el estético con el que fueron realizados, redescubiertos a través de la luz de un “viejo” retroproyector y fascinadas con el efecto de las trasparencias, los colores, las formas y volúmenes estos cobran diferentes significaciones orillando el simple deseo de retratarlos para el recuerdo y la mezcla de pequeñas historias imaginadas que pudieron haber pasado, una escenificación de los sueños de ellos mismos.

Project 1000′i

In December of 2007 more than 20 artists participate in the collective demonstration. The mission was to develop a piece of work in the visual art field in order to give a special tribute to the One thousand Guaraní bill (paper) that where replaced by the coin.

Results: More than 700 visits to the Planta Alta.

Workshop Villard

Integrated by Italian University’s of Arquitecture from Venece, Pescara, Roma, Génova, Regio Calabria, Napoli, Palermo, Alghero and Zagabria (Croatia), Partazo (Greece) y Beirut ( Lebanon).

Has carried on practice the PROJECT bases on trips and itineraries called “Itineranza”, that promote exchange studies with the city and territory. Each year, the workshop has more than hundreds of students and teachers that are interested about this methodology of learning. One of the hypotheses of this project will be proposed by diverse cities.

This trip will be a chronicle, of the history and present of the Cities of La Plata River, and will be record for the experience of the Workshop in Asunción at Planta Alta Art Gallery realized on September 20 to 25 of 2008.

Results: This encounter has more than one hundred participants and was supported by the Arquitecture Laboratory of Javier Corbalán.

After one year and a half the project has reach the sustainability thought a participative progress with local artist. This contributions were gradually transformed the old house that was condemned to the forgiveness into a space of entertainment and leisure from a 100% private initiative.

Inside the gallery we have a bar and coffee shop at the beginning where planned for a new public, but now different types of groups that interacts with their needs of other esthetics preferences that were difficult to find in Asunción. However young’s and adults are integrated in different and charming and creative art proposals besides the collective projects offering and stylish scenery between with the artist encounter.

The interdisciplinarity emerge of the large number of proposals that arrives to PA from performance, video art, sculptures, paintings, photography, mixed media, objects and design.
